Quiz: Your Future Risk of Developing Long COVID-19

A recent study on risk factors for developing long COVID-19 is perhaps the most significant paper published on the topic to date. The researchers drew connections among a large group of people who’d developed long COVID-19 and the symptoms they had when they were first hospitalized with COVID-19.

This quiz is designed to help you assess if you’re at risk of developing long COVID-19 based on the findings of this study. After you take the quiz, you can determine if it’s time to talk to your health care provider about a possible diagnosis of long COVID-19 based on your current symptoms and risk factors.

This quiz was meant to give you a general idea of your risk for developing long COVID-19 based on your initial infection with SARS-CoV-2. If you are concerned you could have long COVID-19, reach out to your medical provider for an evaluation.

Note: The studies this quiz is based on included only hospitalized patients. More studies on nonhospitalized patients with long COVID-19 are planned to determine if these same risk factors apply.
