Hi I agree with you to some extend, 2days ago I finally confronted somebody who had hurt me 52yrs ago, I needed answers as to WHY the lies deceit and no "Confession or Sorry" to clear up the confusion in my mind. Finally I exploded and the next day got an answers. It felt as though I had peeled a layer of deseased skin peeled off my body, I felt slightly lighter, and as I confront more of those unaswered questions the HEALING will take place. I could see some relief in the other person as unburdening yourself if you keep secrets is a heavy burden. Fortunately I prefer to confrtont problems head on, but have had to control myself which is difficult, as others find it annoying............as I do not have grey areas it is either black or white and the Therapist told me is my Major downfall. Anyway thanks for your post, it has helped me a great deal, pity many of the answers have gone to the grave.

I was immunocompromised by an excess of retained childhood trauma. That may not be intuitive. I saw some studies and researchers saying that Long Covid patients were producing the correct antibodies, but in insufficient number to suppress the virus. To me that indicated a problem of resource allocation. I found a psychotherapist, journaled, reflected, and cried a lot (still going after a year of full-time therapy work), and my energy has been restored in force as a result.

All due disclaimers: This is kinda woo-woo, not confirmed by mainstream medicine, although I have now found therapists preaching a similar message. And there are many symptom clusters and presentations of the disease that may not all be explained by the same underlying pathology.

But *The Body Keeps the Score* and *The Mindbody Prescription* are both highly acclaimed books by credentialed doctors demonstrating a clear link between mental health and physiological health. Consider that mental distress could be causing physiological fatigue, and viral pathogens are just the proximate cause.
