Patients Who Had Covid And Went Home With Oxygen Seem To Be Worse Off As Tey Seem To Become Addicted To It.
Hi Helti-B thanx for your response, recently I met my friend and she seemed better and her skin color was also much better. I think this is due to the fact that the problem they had with getting accommadtion and coping with children and grandchildren who burdent the couple is partially sorted. If I get stressed my body goes into spasm and I have to take something to calm me , go for a prayer walk and come back and lay down. My friend says that when she is away from home she seems much better , but when she got back and there was problesm she had to spend extensive time on the oxygen. Doloris🙏
I can’t see how that would happen. Having been in oxygen for weeks many years ago when I had pulmonary emboli, I know that it is harder to breathe when the oxygen is stopped because your body has to work harder to get in enough oxygen so sometimes it takes more effort and energy to get enough oxygen breathing without O2 but I don’t think it is actually addictive. This makes sense as, according to the doctor I saw last week, COVID attaches to your oxygen receptors so getting enough oxygen is harder without O2 support.
