I’m Still Testing Positive, But Experiencing No Symptoms. Is It Safe To Socialize With Others?
I tested positive for covid exactly one week ago today. My symptoms started 2 days before my positive result so all in all about 9 days. I’m not experiencing any symptoms and feel back to normal, but my local urgent care directed me to quarantine for an additional 5 days and said there’s no need for retesting after I have already quarantined for a full week. If I’m positive now, and could still be positive even after these next 5 days, am I any less contagious than I am now? Can I see people… read more
Yes I have been symptom free
Same I was hospitalized in January and was told the same
The Dr told me when I was released after 5 weeks being in Hospital and Rehab, to not let people test me because I would show up positive for a few month's!!! And that add's to the count of people that has Covid, and I don't have it!!

Isolation should only end after 5 days if you are fever free for 24 hours (without medicine) and your other symptoms are improving.
