Has Anyone Else Experienced A Loss Of Pain Sensation?
For example, I had a middle ear infection and found out accidentally and the GP exclaimed, "Aren't you in pain?"
Had an abscess near the root of a broken molar almost 11 days and was unawares until the dentist asked "Aren't you in pain?" Suffered from shingles, no pain to speak of, took a week before visiting my GP to investigate prickly sensation on one side of my scalp and sores/blisters...no real pain, though others who've had shingles speak of excruciating pain.

Low Protein Diet Correlated With Long COVID?
I saw a study correlating amount of protein in diet to Long COVID incidence- less protein was more likely to develop Long COVID- wondering if anyone can speak to their own protein intake? Do you have any anecdotal evidence that this is correlated? thanks!
I think that might be true. I hardly eat protein and it's been 3 weeks and I still feel awful. The rest of the household recovered within 10 days. π

I am recently out of the hospital after 3 week of covid, I have no taste, I only eat because I know I have to, how long is this going to last, just the thought of eating makes me gag. Plus I am using a walker as my leg muscles lost their strength, I am coming along, but was wondering if anyone knew about how long it will take? And did covid cause intestinal problems? Thank you for any help.
After 2 years from contracting Covid I am still struggling with taste and smell although it is far better than it was initially. After 6 months in hospital I was discharged in a wheel chair but I then⦠read more
